{"id":2878,"date":"2013-05-24T00:20:37","date_gmt":"2013-05-24T00:20:37","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.gp-tcm.org\/?p=2878"},"modified":"2022-04-29T00:21:01","modified_gmt":"2022-04-29T00:21:01","slug":"the-4th-international-conference-on-modernization-of-tcm-call-for-abstracts","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.gp-tcm.org\/index.php\/2013\/05\/24\/the-4th-international-conference-on-modernization-of-tcm-call-for-abstracts\/","title":{"rendered":"The 4th International Conference on Modernization of TCM call for abstracts"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The 4th International Conference on Modernization of Traditional Chinese Medicine will be held in Chengdu, Sichuan, China on September 26-27, 2013: A meeting series held once every 3-5 years since 2002, the conference is organised by the Sichuan Provincial Government and co-sponsored or co-organised by China\u2019s Ministry of Science &amp; Technology, Ministry of Health, State Administration of TCM, State Food and Drugs Administration and many other governmental ministries, research institutions and international organisations.<\/p>\n<p>This year, with the theme of \u201cTCM Concerted Innovation &amp; Industrial Development\u201d the conference will comprise 8 panels, each covering an important aspect of TCM. For example, the Panel 2 of the conference is entitled Heritage and Development of Basic Theories of TCM and focuses on research of (i) theory of TCM zang-fu visceral manifestation and biological basis (\u4e2d\u533b\u85cf\u8c61\u7406\u8bba\u53ca\u751f\u7269\u5b66\u57fa\u7840\u7814\u7a76); (ii) aetiology, pathogenesis and therapeutic methods and principles in TCM (\u4e2d\u533b\u75c5\u56e0\u3001\u75c5\u673a\u4e0e\u6cbb\u5219\u6cbb\u6cd5\u7814\u7a76); (iii) theory of TCM drug properties and actions (\u4e2d\u836f\u836f\u6027\u548c\u529f\u6548\u7684\u7406\u8bba\u7814\u7a76); (iv) TCM drug formulation and compatibility, and mechanism of action (\u4e2d\u836f\u590d\u65b9\u914d\u4f0d\u89c4\u5f8b\u4e0e\u4f5c\u7528\u673a\u5236\u7814\u7a76); and (v) new technologies and methods of TCM heritage research (\u4e2d\u533b\u4f20\u627f\u7814\u7a76\u7684\u65b0\u6280\u672f\u3001\u65b0\u65b9\u6cd5).<\/p>\n<p>For details of all panels, please visit the official website of the conference: http:\/\/www.icetcm.org.
